From Spanish to radio language

Tonight was the second part of our Communicator badge:

Chipmunk from Beavers came and taught the Cubs some Spanish – the whole session was held in Spanish! Thank you Chipmunk!

Cubs took part in different activities to think about how we communicate and what is important when we communicate – listening and looking help!

Echo…foxtrot…lima…these were familiar to some Cubs, having heard their parents spell out words over the phone, and proved useful for the Walkie talkies. We discovered it takes quite a lot pf practice to talk using ‘radio language – over and out!

Well done to all the Cubs for talking to their Six about themselves – we heard about lots of different clubs and holidays that have been enjoyed.
