Food glorious food!

What a delicious evening this week – the Cubs made their own vegetable kebabs…and ate them (despite saying they didn’t like any of the ingredients!)

Courgettes were sliced, mushrooms chopped and halloumi  diced. The pepper, pineapple and bread was eaten before making it to the skewer! Oh and we even had a pepper dance!

We had a wide variety of kebab styles – from the ‘one ingredient only’ kebab, to the very structured ‘two ingredients alternating’ kebab, to the ‘put anything and everything on the skewer’ kebab! All tasted delicious!

We’re looking forward to seeing the fact file booklets the Cubs are creating about their chosen country – particularly interested in reading about Bulgaria and Vietnam.
