Autumn term 2019

What a busy term we’ve had!

Starting off the term by exploring our local area, we visited St Margaret’s Church and Buxted Park for a treasure hunt.

Both Monday and Thursday beaver groups joined together for some rather wet wide games at Hadlow Down rec.

We also joined with the Cubs Scouts and Explorers for a Remembrance Day parade.

Then before the nights got too dark, we had fun building bridges over a stream near the hut, then testing them to see whose was strongest.

We’ve had fun inside too, learning to tie knots then using them to build catapults.

We also found out more about homelessness and food poverty, and made a ‘reverse advent calendar’ to donate to Uckfield food bank.
