Welcome to Buxted Scouts
The group has been running without break since 1909 and is still going strong. Beavers meet on Thursday evenings (5-6.15pm). Cubs meet on Wednesday and Thursday ( 5.30-7pm / 6.30-8pm). Scouts on Tuesday and Wednesday (7-9pm) and Explorers on Fridays. We meet every week during school term times. Anyone aged between 6 and 18 can join us as scouts and anyone over 18 can join as a leader or adult helper.
As well as our weekly meetings we run regular camps and take part in a wide range of district activities with other scouts across East Sussex.

Save the date – 3rd November 🔥🎉🔥
After a meeting where we tested different designs of paper plane, some of the older Beavers joined the Cubs and Scouts on a day trip to the Battle of Britain air show at Duxford.
This week we found out about some healthy foods, and made our own mini-pizzas and fruit kebabs. We learnt to use sharp knives safely and remembered to keep our cooking areas clean.
Over the last 2 weeks, beavers have been building mini rafts. But whose would be able to transport its cargo without getting it wet?

After a busy afternoon at Bushy Wood scout camp, the Beavers are finally settling down for a going n night’s sleep. There’s lots more adventures to come tomorrow!
